2022 NAIDOC Week
As many of you may have already seen, the 2022 NAIDOC Week theme has been announced! The theme "Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!" is a call for action to bring about “systemic change and keep rallying around our mob, our Elders, our communities.”

NAIDOC Week is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements, and the unifying theme for 2022 is ‘From the frontier wars to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities fighting for change today—we continue to show up.’

Each July, Australia celebrates NAIDOC Week—a time to reflect on the progress made by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to honour their cultures and heritage. This year's theme is "Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!". Each day of NAIDOC week centres around a different way in which Indigenous Australians have contributed to society. From art and music to law and governance, there are countless ways that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders have enriched our country. This year, take some time to learn about the GetUp! Stand Up!
